Michelle's Dapper Dogs, formerly Dorothy's Dapper Dogs, began as a small grooming shop. Michelle grew up grooming dogs with her mother Dorothy, who started the business, and spent 15 years in doggie daycare before taking over full-time.
The White Marsh location has grown into daycare and boarding as well; it is still family-owned. Grooming is by appointment only, and all dogs must be up to date on standard vaccinations.
