Michelle's Pet Salon began in 1970 as a small neighborhood shop founded by Nena and Tommy Ellison. It is now owned by their daughter Robin Wilkins, an NDGAA master groomer, and runs from a newly built salon at the same long-standing location. Every staff member is pet CPR certified.

Besides dogs and cats, the salon grooms rabbits, guinea pigs and other small animals, and offers puppy grooms, shave downs and pet-safe creative color. Discounted grooms by students of the Groomology Institute are available.

Pets dropped off between 7:00 and 8:30 am are usually ready around noon; later drop-offs until 10:00 am are usually ready around 4:30 pm. The last pickup is 4:30 pm, and pets not collected by closing may be charged a $50 late fee.

Door-to-door pickup and delivery is $20 within 5 miles plus $1 a mile beyond, with no extra transport fee for up to four pets from one home. Walk-ins are taken when there is room.
