Good to know

Laura's Paw Spaw is an AKC S.A.F.E. certified salon with three certified canine estheticians who specialize in skin care. Everything is by appointment; walk-ins are not accepted.

Cats are seen Tuesday to Friday as the first or last appointment of the day and are booked by phone, not online. The only all over cut for cats is a lion trim, and cats that need sedation are not accepted.

Puppies are welcome from 8 weeks; the first visit is a gentle bath, nails, ears and a tidy, with no full haircut. Proof of rabies vaccination is required for pets over 16 weeks, and tags are not accepted.

The salon does not express anal glands, does not clipper double-coated breeds and shaves out heavy matting rather than dematting.
