Good to know

The salon has been grooming dogs from the same La Cañada Flintridge spot since 1981. The Richardson family took it on in August 2019 and ran it as a family business; the crew page now names Dori as owner, with Riley, who bought it in 2019, still on the bench.

For cats they bathe, trim nails and clean ears. They do not cut cats' hair.

Haircuts take about two to three hours and baths one to two, though that shifts with the size, condition and temperament of the dog. Proof of an up-to-date rabies vaccination is required for any dog four months or older, and they will take it straight from your vet if the paperwork is inconvenient.

There is a lobby boutique of home decor and pet necessities, and pick up or drop off is available on request.
