Johnny's Doghouse is a family-owned shop in Tempe, a few minutes from Sky Harbor, opened by Johnny in 2019 in a former neighborhood doghouse. Every dog gets a paper lei at check-in and there is Hawaiian music in the lobby.

Grooming is breed-specific or custom, done one dog at a time at the dog's pace, with shampoos matched to coat and skin. Nervous pups and seniors are welcome. Cats are groomed by appointment in a calm, cat-only space.

The shop also runs boarding, daycare and a self-service wash on site. Payment is cash, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, PayPal or personal check.
