An overgrown or packed undercoat adds $10-$20.

The salon is 100% cage-free: each Canine Stylist works on one dog from start to finish, and dogs are never cage-dried. Dogs with nervous or biting habits are welcome; tell the salon ahead so it can take precautions.

Grooms book about 7 to 10 days out (a month ahead between Thanksgiving and Christmas), baths about 2 days out, with a waiting list for cancellations. Please arrive on time and pick up within 30 minutes of the groom finishing; late pick-up without notice is $20 per hour per dog.

Severely matted coats are not brushed out if it would hurt the dog, and a matted-coat release is signed first. The shop also has four self-serve tubs, first come first served, with the last wash 30 minutes before closing.
