Good to know

Dirty Dogs is a San Diego family business that has run cage-free grooming and self-serve dog washes since 2008. Each groomer works on one dog at a time in an open salon you can see into, and every package uses Revo shampoos and conditioner.

The self-serve wash is walk-in, with warm water, raised tubs, shampoo, conditioner, towels and blow dryers supplied. The store also stocks natural food, treats and supplies.

The store is on University Avenue just north of Balboa Park and serves Mission Hills, Bankers Hill, North Park and Normal Heights.
