Good to know

Blissful Bark opened in 2007 as Flower Mound's first self-serve dog wash and has grown into a full grooming salon. Grooms are one-on-one and by appointment: you meet your groomer, and you get a text when your dog is ready. There are no cages, dogs are dried by hand, and there are no extra add-on charges for pampering.

Nail clipping is free at any time (tipping the groomer is appreciated). Severely matted dogs are shaved only after the groomer goes over it with you. The shop also sells natural dog food, treats and toys.

The salon is open Sunday 12 pm to 5 pm and closed Monday; the site lists two different Tuesday to Saturday schedules.
