My cat has thrown up 5 times in the matter of 15 hours

My cat has thrown up 5 times in the matter of 15 hours. There isn't any blood and he seems to be acting normal. It seems he is mainly throwing up his food. He doesn't mind eating again but every time he has eaten, he has thrown up at some point. I want to know if this is urgent enough to go to a vet in person.

Not a cat owner myself, but I dug into this one and the consistent answer from vet sources is: yes, this is worth a visit, and sooner rather than later. The part that stands out isn't the 5 times, it's that he can't keep any meal down. A cat who vomits once or twice and then holds food down is usually fine to watch at home. A cat who throws up after every single meal for 15 hours has crossed into "get him checked" territory, even if he's acting normal. If it does turn out to be something simple like hairballs or eating too fast, the vet visit is cheap peace of mind. Hope he's okay!
