Bearded dragon regurgitated dubia roaches and has eaten less for three weeks
What they asked
Hi. About 3 weeks ago my bearded dragon regurgitated half-digested dubia roaches. His appetite has been declining ever since then. I’ve stopped feeding him roaches and went back to crickets. They’ll be days where he’ll eat 7 crickets and then most days he’ll eat like 1 or 2 all day. he’s still climbing and acting relatively normal except i can tell he doesn’t have a lot of energy due to him not eating. I give him baths regularly and try to give him collard greens which he eats on occasion. I offer him water a lot too and he is receptive to that. I believe the roaches may have been too big for him.
Sorry to hear about your bearded dragon. What uvb light set up do you have for their enclosure and how warm does the enclosure get? This is normally when brumation can begin with our bearded dragons, so they will slow down on eating. I would keep doing warm baths and leaving plenty of water out.
