African fat-tailed gecko suddenly eating far fewer insects with nothing changed

What they asked

I have an African fat tail gecko. She all of a sudden isn’t eating as much as he used to. She eats maybe one or two or three insects per week now when she used to eat probably like 10 nothing has changing her environment. There’s nothing I’ve changed and the insects haven’t changed either. She eats them, but she’s just way less aggressive on the food. Is there something wrong with her?

Sorry to hear you're concerned. This is likely just brumation. This is the time of year many reptiles will slow down on activity and feeding. Just maintain good clean water and keep providing insects.
