Emergency and urgent care vets in Santee, CA
3 practices in Santee say they take emergency or urgent cases. Each one says so on its own website or in its own name.
These practices describe urgent or emergency work on their own websites. That is not the same as being open right now, and it is not the same as a dedicated emergency hospital: hours change, rotas change, and a practice that takes urgent cases on a weekday may not on a Sunday. Phone before you drive. If an animal is in trouble this minute, call the nearest emergency veterinary hospital rather than working down a list.
Take urgent cases in their own hours 3
Jamacha Pet Vets
10152 Mission Gorge Road
From their website: The practice is closed evenings and weekends and sends emergencies elsewhere: "For after-hours care or emergency services, contact The Pet Emergency & Specialty Center of La Mesa at (619) 462-4800." Emergency care is not listed among its ten services; the only claim that it provides any is a general line reading "From routine and preventative care to emergency care and everything in between, we do it all."
Cuyamaca Animal Hospital
8802 Cuyamaca Street
From their website: Urgent and emergency cases are handled during open hours only, and the practice asks clients to call first so a team member can advise on next steps. For an after-hours emergency it refers clients to Pet Emergency and Specialty Center in La Mesa, 619-462-4800.
Mast Boulevard Pet Hospital
From their website: The site's wording: 'We provide emergency services at our facility... as long as we have availability.' No after-hours service is described.
