Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming Mid-Wilshire is a neighbourhood pet store with a full-service grooming salon in it, alongside pet food, treats, chews, toys, collars and leashes.

The grooming runs one dog at a time. Appointments are scheduled dog in, dog out, so pets are kept separate and nobody sits waiting; the groomers work to strict safety protocols, and the salon is cleaned and sanitised between visits. They take every size and breed, from terriers and shih tzus through doodles, shepherds, huskies and Bernese mountain dogs, and puppies from twelve weeks up, using a gentle puppy shampoo. Products are all-natural, made for the store by Hydra.

A full groom is a luxury bath with shampoo and conditioner, hand drying, full-body brushing and styling, nail trimming, gentle ear cleansing, a sanitary trim, and anal glands on request. A session can run up to two hours depending on the coat and the size of the dog.

Walk-ins are taken on occasion, but an appointment is the way to get the time set aside. It helps to bring a reference photo of the cut you want, to have vaccinations up to date, and to check the dog over for lumps, bumps or skin trouble the groomer should know about.

The store hosts seasonal events through the year, from Yappy Hours with treat giveaways to educational talks and photo days.
