Wash Shake Wag is an independently owned grooming salon and self-serve dog wash in midtown San Antonio, with a second store in Somerset. The staff includes groomers ET and Ruth, hand-stripper and groomer Miss Joan, and bather Martha.

No appointment is needed to wash your own dog: tubs, warm water, shampoo, conditioner, towels, brushes and high-velocity dryers are provided, at $12 up to 20 lbs, $16 for 20 to 40 lbs, $20 for 40 to 60 lbs, $24 for 60 to 80 lbs and $28 over 80 lbs.

Grooming is by appointment. Dogs need proof of rabies vaccination. The salon does not take pregnant or in-heat females or dogs known to be aggressive.
