Most appointments include a bath, trim, teeth brushing and nails for a single rate; exact pricing depends on the dog's size, coat and condition.

Waggin Tails was opened in 1989 by groomer Jennie Willoughby and grooms dogs only, up to 100 pounds, with limited spots for large breeds. The shop is styled after the 1940s.

Work is by appointment only, and spots fill quickly, so same-day grooms are rare. Most dogs are done in about two hours.

The shop lists its hours as Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.

Any dog found with fleas gets a flea shampoo at the owner's expense.
