The Ideal Paw opened in February 2013. Owner Dawn has groomed since 1998 and especially enjoys grooming cats; the team includes groomers with 19 years' experience and certified dog and cat groomers.

There is no one-size-fits-all groom here: puppies go slowly, and senior dogs get rest breaks. Allow a minimum of four hours; the salon calls when your pet is ready.

All appointments are booked by phone in advance; walk-ins are not accepted. The shop also stocks collars, harnesses, leashes, toys and treats.
