Good to know

The Emerald Paw is a family-owned, woman-owned salon run by owner and groomer Jenny, who built it around the Fear Free approach: one-to-one grooming, a limited number of dogs per groomer, and a dog that stays with its groomer for the whole appointment rather than rotating through kennels. Staff hold Fear Free, pet first aid and CPR certifications.

All breeds are groomed, from small to large, including breed-standard and custom cuts, and hypoallergenic shampoos are available. Puppies go through a structured Puppy Program. Nervous dogs are welcome; extreme aggression may need special arrangements. Owners do not stay in the grooming area.

Grooming is by appointment only, with last appointments at 3:00 pm. Early drop-off from 7 am and late pick-up until 6 pm are available for a fee. Groomers let you know about 15 minutes before your dog is ready.

Dogs must be healthy for grooming. If fleas are found the groom is stopped and a sanitation fee applies; removing more than three ticks carries an extra fee.
