Good to know

Allow 2 to 3 hours. The pet's rabies certificate is required before grooming.

Shampoochie has groomed and bathed dogs in Washingtonville since 2016. Staff are trained in handling aged, deaf, blind, arthritic and diabetic dogs, and work with dogs who have had bad grooming experiences, sometimes over a series of shorter visits.

Nail trims can be walk-ins, cats included; calling the day before shortens the wait. Same-day appointments are possible when there is room. Light mats are brushed out, but severe matting is shaved.

Pets must be picked up by closing time. Arriving more than 15 minutes late without notice counts as a no-show.
