Good to know

A locally owned dog grooming spa in Baton Rouge, part of a boarding and daycare resort, with groomers who have over 45 years of experience. Grooming is calm and sedative-free, with patience and a steady, gentle approach.

Your appointment time is a drop-off window: every dog is walked and settled before the groom, and most spa visits are finished within 4 to 6 hours. You are told as soon as your dog is ready; dogs staying more than two hours after their groom are charged day boarding.

Heavily matted coats are clipped short for comfort rather than dematted. Suggested schedule: a therapeutic bath every 2 to 3 weeks and a full groom every 3 to 6 weeks. Required vaccines are Rabies, DHLPP, Bordetella and Lepto.

  • Lick mats

    Lick mats

Something to lick, stuck to the tub wall or the floor, keeps a lot of dogs still for a bath or a nail trim.

    Non-slip rugs and runners

Hard floors are where older dogs slip. A runner along their usual route gives them grip.
