Good to know

Owned by a husband-and-wife team who started as groomers at a large company, became managers and mentors, and ran their own salons before opening Happy Hound. The shop also sells pet supplies.

Baths and haircuts must be booked in advance, ideally one to two weeks ahead; a wait list is available. The quickest way to book is to text your dog's breed, age and the services needed.

Puppies start with the bath package on their first visit and can book a full groom from the second, and need proof of Bordetella, rabies and all rounds of parvo. All dogs need proof of up-to-date shots.
