Good to know

This is a one-person studio that grooms one dog at a time, so each pet gets undivided attention in a quiet room rather than waiting among other dogs. Erika is a certified professional stylist and groomer, a professional dog grooming instructor, and is certified in dog CPR.

The gear is built around the ears: cotton balls go in during the bath to keep water out, and during drying each dog wears a soft hoodie and noise-cancelling headphones to cut the sound.

In-studio grooming is for dogs under 50 pounds. Larger dogs can sometimes be accommodated if they are very well behaved, but the equipment and handling style suit dogs of 50 pounds or less. The studio does not take dogs that are aggressive towards people or have a history of biting, dogs with untreated medical conditions, dogs that need extreme handling or specialised behavioural support, or skunked dogs. De-skunking is not offered.

Proof of current rabies vaccination is required by law, and dogs must be up to date on distemper and parvovirus (DHPP) unless a licensed veterinarian advises otherwise in writing. A dog that is not current is kept separate from other dogs during any scheduling overlap.

Standalone nail services are only for existing clients whose pets have been groomed here before. Every appointment must be confirmed before its start time. A deposit can be transferred once in an emergency.
